
Curcumin, a natural compound that makes turmeric yellow, it can provide benefits for people with diabetes (diabetes), this is the result of a study in Korea.
In this study curcumin supplementary feeding for 6 weeks in mice with diabetes, while the non-diabetic given diet without added curcumin. The result, the diabetic rats fed curcumin supplements lower sugar content than those without diabetes.
If this is true also in humans, then people with diabetes need to be frequently consume turmeric-rich foods such as curry or turmeric acid (but be careful with sugar intake).
