Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger, Alex Ferguson congratulated, for service for 25 years full of success at Manchester United (MU) and still may accrue. According to Wenger, nothing will beat the record for the period of employment.
Ferguson will mark his tenure at United for 25 years in the Premier League match against Sunderland at Old Trafford on Saturday (11/05/2011). A banner reading "Being a manager for 25 years is something that is impossible to be realized, but Sir Alex did it" has been installed, ahead of Premier League matches against Sunderland on Saturday (11/05/2011).
"What can you say? People talk about (25 years Ferguson at Manchester United) right now. All you can say is it's a remarkable achievement, in terms of quality and consistency, "said Wenger.
"(Ferguson's achievements and years of service at MU) is something special because I do not know anyone (other than Ferguson) who has worked with the consistency and high quality in the same club. Surely, nobody would be able to match it. "
Wenger himself is the second coach with the longest tenure in the Premier League club, which is 15 years. When asked about the possibility of him following in the footsteps Ferguson, Wenger said: "The difference is a bit far, ten years. I was happy to have a good season after all this (without a title since 2005).
